The Signo White Uni-ball Impact Pen is perfect for doodling on your scrapbook layouts or adding unique-looking journaling. It's also perfect for writing on cards made with darker papers or cardstock. You'll get pure white ink every time, no matter what color of cardstock you use. In fact, the white ink in the White Signo Pen is opaque, even on super dark papers. Even on photos or stamped surfaces, Signo will do the trick. And even better, the ink will not skip or fade as it dries. It comes out as smooth as silk every time.
This pen features a “uni-glide” gel-ink system that helps prevent blobs, smears and skips. With its transparent barrel, you can monitor its ink supply and hopefully prevent running out of ink in the middle of journaling. The white ink is also acid-free, water-resistant and fade-resistant. There is also a soft, rubber grip for your comfort. A clear cap prevents the pen from drying out and the finger grip from getting dirty.
Usage Tips:
The day Tricia, our Purchasing Manager, excitedly told me about this pen was the day I had hope that a problem for all scrapbookers was going to go away. The problem being white ink pens that skip, blob and never drew lines smoothly. I always had to redraw my lines and often the ink would stick to my already drawn lines. The ink in this pen delivers, big time and I'm thrilled to say I've thrown all of my other white gel pens away (wouldn't give them away for someone else to struggle with).

This is a fabulous white pen. I have tried many different brands of white pens and have been terribly disappointed in each one (see my review of the AC Galaxy Writer). This pen is smooth, bright and reliable. I love that you can use it to write on different surfaces, including slick ones such as photos and wrapping paper and that the ink shows up immediately and dries quickly without smearing.
On occasion I have had a little trouble with the ink starting to flow as soon as I start to write and once in a while I will get some hesitation from the ink flow but overall, this is a GREAT pen. I recommend it to all my friends and have even bought some for gifts.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this pen! It does everything a white pen should. It writes on dark paper, it writes on cardstock, it writes on velum, it writes on photos...it does it all!!! It not only writes on all these surfaces, but it does it cleanly, smoothly, and without the hesitation of other, lesser white pens. You never have to go back over what you just wrote because the pen dried up in mid-letter. And enough of the ink comes out as you are writing that you don't have to retrace what you wrote either. It really is the best white pen i have EVER used, and one of the tools in my scrap arsenal that I would be truly lost without!!!

I have to say that I don't have much to add to what others have said about this product. I did read the reviews in my search for a white pen to use in my scrapbooks and this one appeared to be the top favorite by a landslide. I can see why, as it is smooth flowing and has a very nice opaque quality to the white - not weak and "watered down". You don't have to double back over your lines. They are solid and boldly white when you lay down your initial pen stroke, therefore this shows up on most any color paper you use. This was out of stock numerous times when I tried to order, so if you see it is available you better snap it up!
I would totally recommend this one to anyone who wants to get a white scrap-pen.
I took a chance and got two at once, and I don't regret it the least! It's so easy to write with and it doesn't smudge. It has a liiiittle drying time that you need to take into account, so that you don't smudge it yourself or anything, but it's a real quick time so it doesn't bother me.
Also, you might want to doodle a bit on a piece of paper other than your lo before writing with it on your actual lo if you don't store it vertically tip down. I store it lying and that can cause the color in the pen to retract a bit from the tip. But as long as you're aware of that if you don't store it standing up, this is a totally awesome product! :)

I searched high & low for this pen at my local stores to be told that they didn't carry it. So I searched on my favorite scrapbooking website (Scrapbook.com) and found it. The price was a good deal and I will be ordering more so that I don't run out. When I gave it a test drive on black cardstock, it blew me away how perfect the ink flowed and the look was so incredible. Now I'll be able to journal on dark cardstock the way I always hoped for. Order it and you won't be sorry. I suggest ordering at least 2 or 3 to start since you won't want to stop using it. Kudos to Scrapbook.com!
This is a great pen. Very easy to use and it is so bright and vibrant that it looks like paint.
On light-colored paper, I often write with zigs or sharpies, thus, I am accustomed to instant drying and no possibility of smears. But the Signo is a gel pen and I have to remember to use a bit of caution when writing because the ink does not dry on contact and will smear. It does dry quickly though and has a great look that the zigs can't match.
This pen is a must-have tool for every scrapper, but it's hard to find and often out-of-stock at the Superstore here. So when you find it, get two!

I'll add my vote to the Uni-ball Impact Pen. I have been making cards for nearly 15 years--before all the products available now were even thought of! But I have tried many, many white pens and within a very short period of time, they gum up or dry out and I can never use them again--even after cleaning and even though a large portion of the ink is left inside. I purchased this pen as a result of a wonderful recommendation by Gabrielle Pollaco of suchaprettymess blog. So far, this pen has never even hesitated to flow when I used it. It's the best on the market.
I go through white pens like crazy-came across this one by accident at a LSS-recommended by one of the owners. Used it in the store and have been hooked ever since! No more shaking the pen as you write; this Signo writes just like a ballpoint; smooth and clear, no splattering when journaling. Worth every dime and more.

These little pens are amazing. The white ink is so opaque that it covers everything. I use it to journal on dark pp and cardstock and to hide mistakes on white pp and cardstock. I always keep at least one of these within reach as a "must have" tool. I also have these pens in black, gold and silver. They are very much worth the price to me.
