It’s great for testing stamps, experimenting with ink colors, or making different colored impressions. Make an entire rainbow of perfect color from the same stamp in just moments!

Stamping on the go is a breeze with the Stamp Shammy, too. The shammy is so small and so lightweight that it’s perfect for carrying in your crop or planner tote for cleaning up after creating on the go. Just throw the little Stamp Shammy in your bag, and you’ll have no more need to haul that bottle of stamp cleaner, that bulky scrubber pad, and those huge packages of wipes.

No need to buy different bottles of expensive stamp cleaner for rubber stamps and clear stamps. For a few dollars, your Stamp Shammy will keep your stamps clean through hours and hours of stamping. The shammy is so affordable that you can buy one for the crop bag, one for the planner pouch, and one for your stamping station, so you’ll always have one on hand when you need it!

There is no special stamp cleaner solution needed with the Stamp Shammy. Simply add water to thoroughly hydrate the cloth, then wipe your stamps clean. Each package includes one cleaning cloth that measures approximately 5" x 7".

Here’s just a sampling of what our Scrapbook.com customer reviews say about the Lawn Fawn Stamp Shammy:

Love, love, love this tool. It's so nice to not to carry my velcro stamp cleaner and spray to crops. This looks funny when it dries, but is a workhorse when wet. – kootenaykardmaker

No need for harsh chemicals, baby wipes that leave fuzzies or paper towels that tear! The Stamp Shammy is the perfect cleaning tool for all types of stamps and inks. – AZAmy

I've tried all types of stamp cleaners and this product does it so well, I'll never need anymore spray cleaner, or wipes. - Ktmertens

Try this shammy and you will never use another product to clean your stamp or other stamp items again. – stacey mae

Compatible With: Wood mounted rubber stamps, cling mounted rubber stamps, clear stamps, acrylic blocks, all ink types.

Size: 5” x 7” (approximately)

Contents: one Stamp Shammy

Instructions: Before using the Stamp Shammy with your rubber stamps or clear stamps, first soak the shammy in water (running it under a faucet is fine) until it is fully hydrated. The Stamp Shammy’s cloth will become soft and pliable when it is fully hydrated. The cloth may change color when hydrated; this is normal.

TIP: Make sure to squeeze the excess water out of the Stamp Shammy cloth before taking it to your work surface to avoid unintended water drips getting on a precious project!

Use the Stamp Shammy to clean stamps by tamping dirty stamps onto it until the stamp’s surface is clean. Or use the shammy to wipe the surface of the stamp, making sure to get into any crevices of the design.

The shammy cloth will get ink marks on it as you use it, but there’s no need to interrupt your stamping - just keep on working with it. The marks won’t transfer to other stamps. If the shammy gets too dry during a long stamping session, simply rehydrate it and keep working!

To clean up when you are done stamping, just rinse the Stamp Shammy well and lay it down to dry. (Some ink stains may remain on the shammy after rinsing, but this will not affect its ability to clean stamps.) Let it dry thoroughly before putting it away.

Stamp Shammy - Best Invention In Stamping!

No need for harsh chemicals, baby wipes that leave fuzzies or paper towels that tear! The Stamp Shammy is the perfect cleaning tool for all types of stamps and inks. Just dampen your shammy, wring out the excess water and you are ready to go. It works beautifully with all the inks I have tried including Archival Ink, Momenta, Versa Fine, Umbrella Crafts, as well as other dye based, pigment, and hybrid inks. The Stamp Shammy does clean StazOn Inks but you may have some staining on your stamps based on the type of stamp you are using and how long the ink has been sitting on the stamp.

The best part about the Stamp Shammy is that the ink does not transfer to your hands or other stamps between uses. Love, love, love the Stamp Shammy by Lawn Fawn!

Goodbye Cup Towel and Hello Stamp Shammy!!!!

For over a decade I have used a cup towel and stamp cleaner to clean my stamps, not the ideal way to get those stamps clean, but it worked. Occasionally I would also use baby wipes, not ideal either.
The minute I saw the Stamp Shammy from Lawn Fawn I said to myself "I MUST buy more than one of these bad boys!" I ordered my first one from Scrapbook.com and it's *A*mazing!
I use various types of inks and all of my stamps wipe clean using the Stamp Shammy, even Staz On ink (as long as you use Staz On cleaner) which I also purchased here at Scrapbook.com!
Now, I can't live without the Stamp Shammy and my cup towel and baby wipes are a thing of the past. I would highly recommend the this product, hands down!

SO EASY TO CLEAN STAMPS - NO LINT RESIDUE

I absolutely love this product. I was getting lint on my stamps which caused uneven inking and much nashing of teeth. The shammy cleans the ink off the stamps (red rubber and polymer) without transfering the ink to the next stamp. I just threw it in the washer after using it alot. The pigment ink stained the shammy but not problem...still does the job.

    Almost as good as Chocolate

I love this Stamp Shammy from Lawn Fawn, it might be dirty and messy and nasty looking but you know what I clean with only one side so I always leave the clean side up. I love chocolate but this shammy is almost as good, my stamps are cleaner than ever and I need to do nothing but add water to bring it back to life. Golly Moses I love this shammy its so soft and perfect. Thank you Lawn Fawn for this invention.

FABULOUS, best invention for cleaning stamps, EVER !!!

I own & have tried every stamp cleaner under the sun ! This is fabulous...it cleaned the discoloration on clear stamps that got stained months ago, it took a lot of rubbing on the old stained ones...and they did not totally come clear, but so close most would think they had never been used....and I had cleaned them right after use at time ! The stained ones only a few weeks old came totally clear !!! I use tiny stamps in my planner, use VersaMagic & Brilliance Inks with them. They are so tiny, with tiny groves...this cleans them GREAT ! Nothing else has totally cleaned my tiny clear stamps so well...let's face it, we spend a lot of money on our stamps...using this on my stamps after each use will keep them clear !!! Only negative, it should come with a " keeper " of some kind. I have mine in a Zip-Lock bag, always wet...so far. Do not know if that it best, but that is what I am doing. Best new thing this year !!!

  • What makes this shimmy different from regular shammys?   By: LEESTEVE27 (06-Feb-17) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I have used a regular shammy for many years now and it has always worked great. I have a real shammy and a synthetic shammy and both work great. I haven't purchased the Lawn Fawn shammy yet but other than being died a pretty color and cut perfectly I don't see how this could work any better than a real shammy. Is it possible to clean the actual shammy? And if not, how often should it be replaced? Thanks!   By: User (05-Nov-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I have had my stamp shammy for about six months. I use it a lot and although it has a lot of color on it , it still works fine. It does not leave any color on my project if I clean the stamp and then stamp it on the page again. I just rewet it with warm water each time I use it. • I use my shammy quite a bit. When it gets really, really covered in ink I soak it in warm water with a little dish detergent. It doesn't come out completely clean but good enough to use again for quite a while. By: mobutler47 (07-Nov-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • How does this work on stazon, archival and moment type inks?   By: klecloux (27-Feb-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I use Staz On ink with my stamps (rubber and acrylic) and the ink comes off using the Stamp Shammy and Staz On cleaner that you can purchase here at Scrapbook.com! I have had no issues. Hopefully that helps! Thanks! :) By: Dedra Long (05-Apr-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • I have been crazy busy since I got my shammy this week, so unfortunately haven't had a chance to use it yet. It's frustrating what little detail companies often give about their products! I was curious about StāzOn and Versamark inks, and have only found 1 person (via googling like mad) who mentioned cleaning StāzOn ink off with it, and she said it works great. Keep in mind, this was just a consumer. I will post again when I try it myself, but thought I'd let you know what I'd found so far. By: sistermadly1 (04-Mar-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
