This seven piece Poinsettia and Holly Layering Stencil set is designed by Lisa Horton for Lisa Horton Crafts. These stencils create a beautiful spray of poinsettias intermixed with holly leaves and berries. Each layer is numbered and for best results, use the stencils in order. Each layer can be colored with a different color of ink. These reusable stencils can be used with your favorite inks, markers, embossing pastes, glitter pastes, texture pastes, paints, sprays, mists, paper glazes, and other crafting mediums (sold separately). These stencils will clean up easily whichever medium is used. These stencils can be used for cards, scrapbook pages, tags, journals, planners, and other paper crafting and mixed media projects. This stencil set has a coordinating 3D embossing folder/die (sold separately).
Over all I liked it them. I did have a little trouble lining them up with the embossed image, but the projects ended up turning out fairly well.

Could you use these without the Making Tool? Perhaps use a binder to hold the stencils in place?

Hello. These stencils can be used without the making tool. Mint tape could be used to hold the stencils in place as well.
