This 6" x 6" Pretty Leaves 3D embossing folder is designed by Lisa Horton for Lisa Horton Crafts. This embossing folder creates deep, crisp designs that look amazing on both the embossed and debossed sides of the paper. This folder is compatible with leading die cutting and embossing machines (sold separately). This folder can be used to create scrapbook pages, card fronts, tags, journal pages, slimline cards, and other paper crafting projects.
This folder produces a beautiful image! I bought two “leafy” embossing folders in the same order with the plan to switch between the two in a project, for variation, but this folder was so stunning I used only it. Neither my lightweight (80 lb) nor my heavy weight (110 lb) card stock cracked, and I didn’t use water. The image is 3D but with a smooth transition in heights. The resulting embossed image is 5 5/8 by 5 5/8, so not quite 6 x 6 in the result, if that matters to you. This folder is currently the top folder in my frequently-used stack..
This is a game changer. The leaves are so detailed & you can use them white card, watercolours, markers, inks. They can be an add on to flowers or take centre stage or be at the back. Would recommend to anyone
I enjoyed pairing my background color (by inking the embossing folder) with my coordinating Building Polish on the leaves.
Beautiful results, great for a variety of card backgrounds and sizes. I learned how to make and use a shim in my machine with this thicker 3D embossing folder but got great results after a bit of research and experimenting.
