Product Questions & Answers

  • So once you add your pure and hot water to the mix and let it sit, and then use it - can you store the remaining mix for future uses? It wouldn't be hot in the future, so I'm wondering if that's a problem or if they store okay.   By: Cat0486 (07-Sep-17) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • This article just popped up today. You can use water, but in the way shown here: https://lindysgang.blog/2017/09/08/water-embossing-powder-background-technique-kerry-fellowes/ By: iluvcats261 (09-Sep-17) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Embossing powders are not mixed with water. A watermark pad (like VersaMark) or embossing liquid (like Ranger's Emboss It) should be used to ink a stamp or be used through a stencil design; then the embossing powder is sprinkled on the wet image and the excess tapped off. A heat gun is used to set the color in place. There are all sorts of videos on the internet that can help you see this process. You could try looking up 'heat embossing'. Good Luck!
