This is definately the one and only glue to use! I was so skeptical at first about using a liquid glue with the consistency of school glue, but I was hooked from the first time I tried it! Use this glue like a ball point pen, applying a thin line where needed. It is strong, dries clear, never warps and adheres everything! I use it for paper, photos, embellishments, even when adhering paper to metal. And it is absolutely the best glue to use when adhering paper to chipboard. Just a thin bead around the edge and then allow the paper to squish the glue out of the edge just a little. Use a emery board to file down the paper and remove the excess glue. You will get a nice smooth edge and the paper will not peel up! Perfect! Love it.
If I had to foresake all other adhesives (the horror!) and just pick the ones I really love, THIS would be one of my last two adhesives standing (the other being Dotto Repositionable). I love this liquid glue - it never warps paper, dries pretty fast and clear, holds strong. Love the narrow tip on top and broader tip on the bottom, perfect for laying this stuff on a variety of items. This is so versatile too - works well with photos, paper, ribbons, etc. I normally use glue dots and glue lines to hold heavier embellishments but if I'm out of those, I know from experience that a thick layer of this will definitely stick those heavier things down. It apparently can work as repositionable adhesive if you let it dry, but I haven't checked that use out yet. I've also heard that it can be used as a repositionable adhesive to stick unmounted rubber stamps to blocks (great because I've been needing to do that!). I am awaiting an order of a few of these from sb.com right now as I type...THAT'S how much I rely on this, I can't be without it! If you're like me and love the versatility & all-around uses of a liquid glue, I recommend you try this out for yourself.
This is the adhesive I use on all my pages. I love it. You don't need alot of it either. Just a few dabs around the pic or paper and there you go. If you let it dry first its' removable. I do have the roll types of adhesive also but rarely use them. I keep the little bottle turned upside down in a little glass jar so it's always ready to use and I don't have to wait for the glue to get to the outlet. Works like a charm. It's good for small pieces too. Holds chipboard perfectly. And the price. Can't beat the price. It's lasts forever.
Currently, my adhesive uses are now down to three: Scor-Tape 1/2 and 1/4 inch widths, which I use for virtually everything. I cannot sing the praises of this adhesive loudly enough. Get the dispenser from Scor-Pal and you'll be set forever. You need only small amounts and it adheres strongly and indefinitely. I used to alternate between various brands of tape runners which mostly fell apart and delivered the tape pieces inconsistently (including Tombow's tape runners). Once the entire set of layers on the card I finished making just fell off. No problem with Scor-Tapes. Get some. That's my best recommendation. My second favorite adhesive is Tombow Aqua Liquid Glue. It comes in the same sort of dispenser as the Multi use formula. From reading about the "green" version, I'm not sure what the differences are; they have similarities for the most part: two applicators, medium drying time with time to reposition, and etc. I use this adhesive for small areas where Scor-Tape wouldn't be appropriate but I find myself reaching for it more often than I used to. It's a great adhesive. It's not for jobs when you want an instant stick. Scor-Tape does that better. The only other adhesive I need is some sort of dimensional. There the main question is height and width, whether the shape is square or round (depends on the use), and the color is black or white. Black dimensionals generally look poor on cards or light colored papers (which I work with) so I use white dimensionals most of the time. Again, the choice of dimensional depends on your need. I haven't found much difference between brands but Scor-Pal makes a nice dimensional, including a tape version you can cut to any needed size. 3 adhesives, except for the craft glue I use to adhere stamps to blocks, is all I need. Next time my Tombow Aqua runs out (which may take a year or so), I'll try the the Multi given the great reviews here. Thanks.
This is my absolute favorite glue. I just got it recently and I'm completely out of it. It was the first time I've ever tried this kind. I am always trying new glues and tapes and adhesives, most people know sometimes its hard to find a good one that you really really like. Well, this is that one. It works so well on everything. If you're gluing something that won't stick with most adhesives use this, and I bet it will work perfectly for you. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!
