I had been eyeing this tool for quite awhile before I ordered it as soon as scrapbook.com had it available. I honestly don't know how I got along without it. It's so easy to line up stamps for exact placement. I can't tell you how many times I've thrown out a card because the image didn't stamp clearly the first time around. No more...just ink up the stamp again, stamp and alignment is perfect.
Since I've fallen in love with this product, I'm now in the process of unmounting a lot of my wood block stamps and unless there's a stamp I absolutely have to have, I'm going to try and stick with either cling mounted or clear stamps. The numerous YouTube videos on the Misti have been so helpful.

When I saw the video on utube on how this works I was sold. I knew you could always find a hard to find item on Scrapbook.com. This was so easy to use and it makes for a perfect stamp every single time. Lining words up so they are centered are no more of a challenge with this tool. If part of your stamp doesn't print dark enough you can reink the stamp and do it again because everything lines up perfectly. Got the large size and it is easy to store in my bag for crop night. Everyone at my cropping sites love it and where all going to get one. Hope they got it from scrapbook.com because the pricing on this website is hard to beat.

First of all, let me say I don't own the MISTI but had the chance to try one out to see if I liked it or not.
At first, the positive points:
+ I really do like the idea behind the MISTI; being able to place stamps perfectly and restamp sth when I didn't get it right the first time
+ I like the magnetic platform to be able to secure your piece of paper
However, the negative points for me far outweighed the positive:
- first of all: the price! seriously?
- the size of paper you can use is quite restricted because it is closed on all 4 sides (yes, I know there is an even bigger MISTI, but that's even more expensive and also too big)
- to me it felt really flimsy; didn't feel like a quality item - especially not for that price
- the measurements are only in inch; for European crafters (or in general anyone who uses the metric system) it would have been nice to just add another line of measurements in cm - there is enough space on those borders to do it
All in all, I was really underwhelmed with the MISTI, especially after all the praise I had read/heard before trying it. So I definitely expected more.

This stamping tool will take away all your care and worries. You will never have to buy another stamping aid for the rest of your life.This is amazing and allows you to re-stamp images that didn't transfer perfectly and it lines up exactly in the same place as you originally stamped. It allows you to do invitations and have all of them be identical. Just place your paper in the corner and put the magnets down and place your stamp on the paper upside down .Close the lid and it picks up the stamps. Ink them and then re-close the cover and your stamped image is exactly where you want it. i ordered extra magnets so my paper stays in place and never moves . I ordered the large Memory MISTI from My Sweet Petunia, that allows you to do 12x12" scrapbook pages, the ideas are endless. Then I purchased the Origianal MISTI from Scrapbook.com because they had a ten dollar off coupon. This is a great tool so don't hesitate to purchase.

I was a little skeptical when I ordered the Misti up until I used it. I fell in love with the ability to fill in where I may have missed inking, I love how it makes that process of two stage stamping so very simple. I don’t have to worry about having the right sized stamping block and the best thing for me it is a breeze for the children that I work with who have disabilities to use without having to try and manipulate the various sized acrylic blocks. The children enjoy being able to stamp for some it is a new experience. This invention is awesome.

As someone who suffers from intermittent moments with my hands shaking uncontrollably, rubber stamping was not always met with success. The MISTI helps work around this by making possible restamping images over & over again despite the shakes. Now I am enjoying the wonderful world of stamping again. Thank you for this product.

I can't tell you how much paper I have wasted, due to stamps either not having been stamped well due to not being dark enough or not exactly even. Just about every scenario you can think of that wastes paper. Lets face it, good card stock is expensive. This is a blessing! I no longer have to throw away my paper. I can just reink and stamp. It almost eliminates the need for my Stamp a ma jig. Now my stamping is just perfect! It will pay for itself. You will be wondering why the heck you have not bought it sooner!

At first glance the Misty looks to be pricy but after using it, it's worth every penny. The day before it arrived I was hand stamping a card and got it off centered as usual. With Misty I was able to place the stamp on the card, then open the top and make minor adjustments to make sure the phrase would print out straight and not crooked. Works great for the Type A personality crafters.

I received my Misti 3 days ago and can't believe I ever got along without one. The ability to reink and restamp the same spot is unbelievable. So glad I ordered it as soon as it came out. It will get lots of use in my card making!

I would like to know what the difference is from the rose quartz and the original plastic with a pink boarder this is what I have, in the 6x8 size? Is it different material or are there different hinges?

When un-mounting rubber stamps from wood blocks, what is used to get it to adhere to the Misti? I have so many wood mounts that I would like to do this with.

I purchased the Memory MISTI to handle my 12x12 paper and I also have the Original MISTI. Yes your paper would get a crease depending how much pressure you use to stamp. Wait until there is a sale here. Scrapbook.com by far has the best price on the MISTI that I have seen. I love having both as for my scrapbook pages fit perfectly in the Memory MISTI, and the Original is good for all my card making. I may even get the small one for travel and A2 cards. Have fun.

I am interested in purchasing a NEW MISTI stamping platform. I see that the name at the top says NEW but in the details it says there is an original MISTIinside. Please verify that this is the newest version of the MISTI. I want to make sure this is the version with the metal hinges. Thank you!
