The Mini MISTI stamping tool is named the Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented and it lives up to its name. MISTI's simple hinge design provides consistent stamping for beginner, novice or experienced cardmaker and it makes stamping easier than ever before. The MINI MISTI, like it's larger counterpart, can be used with clear stamps and red rubber cling mount stamps and the included foam pad raises your cardstock/paper to facilitate stamping with clear stamps.
Each package includes one Mini MISTI tool that measures approximately 6" x 7" and has a stamping area that measures approximately 6" x 4.75", foam pad, grid paper and one magnet. OMG...where have you been for the last 10 years ? Absolutely love this product, truly a genius idea. East to use, compact and did I mention timesaver ? In this age of instant gratification this tool meets those requirements tenfold.
I purchased the Mini and it's perfect for card-making, but since this purchase I decided I wanted the bigger model, only because I have a few really big stamps (Julie Nutting Doll Stamps).
Every card/scrapbook/mixed media maker must invest in this tool. Worth every penny! Priced right...already told my hubby Mother's Day is around the corner...one guess as to what's on my wish list :-)

I've wanted a MISTI ever since I saw it demonstrated in a video, but the price was a bit too much on my retirement budget. When I saw that Scrapbook.com had a mini version, and there was also a 12% off sale, I had to get it. The product itself is really terrific, and I will be using it to mass produce some of my cards to sell at a restaurant. It might even help me get going on my Etsy site. And I have to give a big high-five to the pickers and shippers on Scrapbook.com: I received my MISTI in four days! That is better than the company I demonstrate for.
So, I have the big one and I like it, but it wasn't made with as much quality material as this smaller version. I soon had hairline cracks on the side that you lift with. I decided since I make cards more than anything else, the small version would fit my needs. It's made better and they threw in some grid paper which is nice to have handy. I'm happy with it.
The best stamping tool ever. I love my MISTI and it is great for stamping with 3 layer stamps. Comes out perfect everytime. I have told all my friends about it and so far they have all ordered one. Upon receiving it they instantly loved their MISTI too. A must have tool for all stampers. Price seems high, but worth every single penny. You won't be sorry.
I have a regular MISTI. I bought the mini to take to a scrapbook convention, and I have not used it yet. It is much lighter, as well as smaller, which makes it great for travel and carrying. It comes with two magnets on the BACK--don't miss those! I am very satisfied. I love my regular MISTI; what a great invention!
I am so pleased with my Mini Misti. It is easy to use and works perfectly. It is great to stamp over for misinked areas of stamps . . . always exactly right!
The size is perfect for stampers and easy to transport. In short . . . I love it!
I have used this item a number of times with no problems to report. My only concern is that I feel this product is made cheaply (plastic hinges and sticker rule guides) and I am not sure how long it will last. Nevertheless, it works well now and I am glad that I purchased it.
So far I love this product!!! I have tremors so stamping was almost impossible for me. The Mini Misti has made it possible. I love it. I have become an avid customer as you make everything so easy and friendly. Thank you.
I have only used this a couple of times since I received it, but it is AMAZING! So very glad I was able to purchase it. You know when you stamp and 1 part doesn't impress completely, this solves that problem as you just re-ink, then repress and get a perfect impression.
This is an incredible tool! I needed to make 20 mini popcorn boxes stamped on twice an all four sides. It made the job so much easier. And, a few times when I had to stamp over an image, it was perfect. Love it!

Would the mini MISTI be big enough for a 5x7 card (A7)?

The stamping area is only 6 x 4.75..so while certainly for a layer..not the entire card..and if you put 5x7..it will get creased for sure. The regular misti would be better for that. I have both (just got my Mini)...so that tells you how valuable I have found it.

I'm trying to decide if I need the regular one or the mini. I read a review that the regular one isn't as well made. I don't make anything but tags and cards, but see the mini is too small for a standard 5X7 card. Info please Thanks!

I have them both. If you are making cards you will want the 8x10. I didn't see any difference in quality. I like to take the mini with me for projects that fit,like tags. I Always use them both. Be very careful not to put the magnets together bc they will break. . I take them off one at a time and one goes to the left and the other to the right.Sweet petunia said they will not replace them. This must be a problem for a lot of people. I just ordered 2 more sets.

I want to buy a misti for my mom who is legally blind but still quilts and makes cards. It says I can choose the base color but I am trying to figure out what is considered the base. Is it the frame around the misti or the part that you lay your card stock on. Because she is blind she doesn't see some colors well and I need to make sure before I purchase it. Thanks

First time I used my Misti at a class, and after warning about the magnets, first person tested it out and broke both magnets.
I bought Neodymium magnets on Ebay to use in a journal. My seller was in another country and my magnets came from China but they still arrived in a timely manner. I bought very tiny magnets but they probably come in different sizes. Even with shipping the price was good and there were no fees. Always read the fine print though. Sometimes you see them on Amazon but they didn't carry the tiny ones. I pinched my fingers trying to separate them. Ouch! Keep them away from small children.

Will this work for unmounted rubber stamps?

I just unmounted a cheap rubber stamp yesterday...it was old and the cushion separated from the rubber. I applied a very thin layer of Aleene's Tack-IT Over & Over on the back of the rubber, let it dry for several hours and then tested it on the Misti. It did not leave any residue on the cover of the Misti and worked perfectly.
