This set of three Sticky Mats are custom made to fit inside the original MISTI. These sticky mats measure 6.5" x 8.5". These mats all have a grid printed on them. There is a 0.25" grid, a 0.125" grid, and a centimeter grid to help line up your stamps when you are stamping. These mats can also be used for lining up dies, and other products.

Just what I needed and who knew I needed it? Saves so much time and keeps the project right on target.
These sticky mats are reasonably priced and have just the right amount of stickiness to hold my project in place but are easy to remove the cardstock. Some of the super sticky mats make it hard to remove a project without ripping. My only concern is how well they will clean off when the mat starts loosing its stickiness. I know that over time, paper fibers and cat hair will be an issue. I haven't used it enough yet to need to try cleaning it. If it is possible to clean and still retain the stickiness, this rating would definitely be 5 stars. I suspect though, since they are sold in packs of 3, that maintaining the stickiness over time is a factor.
I have tried the Misti Sticky Mat in and it works very well to. hold. the paper in place. There is little need for magnets or tape now. Wonderful tool to use, making stamping a lot faster.
This sticky mat is a bit too sticky...6# stock card hard to get off and caused some curling. Haven't tried 80 to 110 # cardstock, so before I start to create a stamp, gonna test. If you want sticky, this is it.
This product is awesome, very convenient and easy to use, hold your card in place in the Misti . Will not damage your project!! Awesome , now I’ll be saving adhesive that I use to use to hold my projects down . Better than magnets !!
Love my Misti…and love her accessories! This sticky mat is so much nicer than magnets! Would definitely recommend trying the sticky mats!

Is this a low tack mat that will hold the paper but not tear the paper when trying to remove after stamping?

Are these mats sticky on both sides or only on one side? If so, they don't work very well inside the misti?

They are sticky on one side. Tape or use the magnets to secure them into the Misty on the edges so that the sticky side is up (I used the magnets and made the mat flush with one of the corners.). Use the sticky side to hold your cardstock in position, while stamping and use the grid to position each “card” in a “run”, if making multiples, exactly the same way.

How do these fare for the plastic stencils with inks? Will it hold the plastic stencil too or do you still need to tape it down so the stencil doesn't move?

Hello, these sticky mats can be used with stencils. The adhesive on the mat helps keep the paper and the stencil from shifting while applying ink, pain, or other mediums. These are low tack and, after a few uses, will need to be replaced.

I recently purchased the 3 pack of the sticky mats for the original MISTI. I got a big surprise when I discovered they have no "sticky" about them. Did I get a faulty package? If not, how do I make them "sticky"?

You should be able to feel that the bottom is textured and the top will appear really shiny on each sheet. Turn your mats so you can read the printing on them right side up and proper way around. Rub your thumb upwards on a lower corner of each. You should be able to dislodge the corner of the clear plastic that covers and protects the sticky side so you can remove it. If there is no clear cover and that right-side up surface is not sticky, then there is an issue with the product. Hope that helps.
