How many pages can one of these books handle? I know they come with 10, but with refills available...

Hello, thank you for your question. These new Flip books will hold up to 60 pocket pages if the pages are flat with no embellishment or dimension. If adding embellishment or dimension it would be less depending on how much height you add to the pages. Thank You

Can you use the regular 6x8 pocket page protectors with these?

Hello, Thank you for your question. No, unfortunately the regular 6x8 pocket pages will not work with the new Flip Books. The new Flip Books work on a clasp system that expands as you add pocket pages. The pocket pages for this new product had to have a larger seam built into them in order for the pages to flip correctly and give enough room as to not bend your photos, cards or embellishments. The regular 6x8 pocket pages do not have this additional seam.
