Create a scrapbook album sharing your family ancestry with the Simple Vintage Ancestry Collection 12" x 12" Collector's Essential Kit by Simple Stories. Included in the kit are 12 sheets of double sided papers, one 12" x 12" cardstock sticker sheet, ephemera bits and pieces, one 6" x 12" chipboard sticker sheet, and one roll of washi tape. There are 184 pieces included in the kit that are made in the USA.
I have truly come to love this Simple Stories Vintage Ancestry line, as I have purchased almost every piece of it for an upcoming project. I'm going to use it in a scrapbook detailing highlights of my great-aunt's life. Knowing you will want your money's worth when buying this Essentials Kit, I will describe exactly what it contains below.
8 Sheets of High-Quality Patterned Paper, Front & Back: Most of these are a repetitive background (a few reminiscent of "The Yellow Wallpaper," if you ask me...), but I would say about half of these patterns are very interesting full-page graphics which will be fun to work into your project.
4 Sheets of Journaling Cards of Varying Sizes (basically, nondescript patterns on the back): I like these a lot. They are, to me, very relevant and versatile. Not kitschy.
The Sheet of Cardstock Stickers and the Sheet of Chipboard Stickers are items which are sold separately. You are receiving those same separate items, so don't order double (unless you want to). The Washi Tape is One Roll included in the Set sold separately of Three Rolls. It is Floral.
This is of Particular Note: The Bits & Pieces Die-Cuts in the Essentials Kit are NOT the same as the Portrait Bits & Pieces sold separately. I would think you're getting a better deal, though, as the assortment in the Kit contains 57 pieces, while the Bits sold separately only contains 41 pieces. Your call.
That's my personal summary of the contents Up-Close. I hope it helps in some way. As I said earlier, I have found the contents of this Simple Stories Vintage Ancestry series Versatile, Attractive, and very Suited to my Needs.
