    Hobby Holster

I 'm not to impress about it, I followed the instructions, I peeled the back of pocket. Placed flap on smooth , clean, and dry surface (working table) .
Pressed firmly on flap, put my glue gun in it, the next day it was on the floor.
I tried on another surface, it did the same thing.
My idea of buying the Hobby Holster was to use it for my heat tool, it didn't work, my heat tool didn't fit, so I thought I could use it for my glue gun, so I'm very disappointed.
I did read some negatives reviews by some of your customers about the Hobby Holster.

  • Fabulous

I can't account for others experience but I put my glue gun and glue sticks in this 4 weeks ago and it is still holding just fine. I have now bought 4 of these with no issues. I have 2 for glue guns, one for my labeler and one for my foam sculpting wand. Just perfect. I have bought several for friends as well.

  • You can't hang it off the edge of your table

I thought this was a great alternative to having to isolate my hot knife and glue gun until it cooled. Hot knife fits great in it and safely protected me from it -- until it dropped onto the floor. So I put a heavy decorative rock on it and it stayed. And while my glue sticks fit nicely in the little pocket, my glue gun (with a cord) swung under the table and fell out. It was too heavy. I wish I could return them, I bought 2 too long ago.

  • Will this safely hold a fuse tool?   By: metty (18-Feb-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Yes it would hold a fuse tool. I have no trouble with it sticking to my oak table. Perhaps the surface of the table used by previous comment has something on it that prevents it adhering. I would use something like Windex to remove anything that is sticky or oily, By: HeatherMueller (20-Feb-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported.
