The tip broke on my 1st project, and paint came out on my work in blobs.
I like the way this pen writes. I like that it is very opaque. But while writing with it, I pressed down and ink flowed everwhere. This was probably my mistake, but if you buy this pen, be very careful to get the ink flowing on a scrap. I'm going to practice with it some more and see if I can't get the hang of it.

This pen have a lovely extra fine tip that makes it great for adding details in pen work in my journal. I love that it writes well over acrylic paint. Be sure your paint is very dry through. One of my favs !
I really like using this pen. The ink/paint comes out nice and smooth, and the line is nice and thin (not too thick and not clumpy). You have to re-draw the line a few times for the writing to be completely opaque, but it's worth it.
I started to use the pen and when I lifted it off the paper to go to another area-the tip fell out. I can not get it to stay in place. I have tried placing it in without much pressure-no luck. I then tried using a little more pressure but it still comes out. Also the ink(paint) is also coming out in globs when the tip slips out. I have no idea what to do. I had brought one at a hobby shop several months ago and had the same problem. So that is why I ordered from Scrapebook thinking that the problem had something to do with the store. But now this one is doing the same thing.
Love my pen! Great for doodles. Writes smoothly and very opaque! I can't recommend this product highly enough and often get additional pens to share with friends.
I like using this pen. Sakura produces good products in my experience. The ink covers well and writes smoothly.
this is the perfect writing tool to use with darker background paper. it is precise for detailed journaling.
