Even though these punches take up alot of space to store, they are very sturdy and easy to use. These punches are great for anyone that has little strength in their hand/wrist. It is difficult to find large punches and these do the job! I own the large circle and large scalloped oval and can't wait to get more!
For punches, I am still addicted to the Marvy punches. I have a bunch of these punches now ever since I bought my first Marvy punch. I never have any problem punching out of my paper. I've used a few sheets together, and it was not hard to press down on. The lever makes it easy!! The circle is smaller than I thought it would make, but that's okay... just buy the Giga size. I love that one too!

I have a lot of fun layering cirlces, squares, diamonds etc on my pages. The mulitple different sizes of punches that Marvy Uchida offers, lets me create layered effects with ease. Great product.
I love circles, so I thought this punch was a must have. It makes beautiful circles that are nice and big. It does take some effort to punch through card stock (as opposed to typing-weight paper) and will not punch chipboard sheets. I thought that the lever was kind of "mushy"... what I mean in that when I pushed it down, it felt like it was pushing on foam and not cutting, until the last possible moment when it finally cut through the paper with a satisfying pop. Occasionally, the paper would get trapped in the punch resulting in the need to tear it out of the feeding space. Annoying, but not all the time.
one handy detail: the punch comes with a little plastic "lid" to catch the circles that you punch. I ended up taking it off because I was happy to let the papers fall onto my work service without the extra step of removing the "lid".
