I had been borrowing a friend's paper crimper and was anxious to get my own when I saw this one online. I am disappointed in the product. It has plastic rollers. My friend's are metal. It doesn't crimp tightly. I wanted something more like corrugated and it appears these are intended more for making rosettes. You do get the versatility of two different rollers that each produce a different sized crimp. I would not recommend this product if you are looking for a tight corrugated style crimp. If you just want to make rosettes then it would be fine.
It does work, but the crimp (or fold lines) aren't well defined/crisp. Also, even with the rollers for the smaller crimp pattern you get a 3/8 of an inch depth/crimp pattern - so just under 1/2 inch. The picture they show of the rosettes appear be shallower - but not so - the small crimp pattern looks like the size of the large one in the photo they show for the product. I wanted to make rosettes for card fronts but they are kinda thick for that if you are gonna send a card in the mail. It does work though - a little easier then on the score board...maybe, maybe not. You have to make sure you keep it straight when it rolls thru or you will get a crocked wasted piece of paper; but it has guide lines to help you keep it straight.
