I worked with it quite a bit to try to get it unplugged so I could use the applicator. I had been very excited to get this because the fine line applicator seemed like exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately I could never get the tip unclogged despite working at it from both ends for quite a while. The concept seems great, but I am very disappointed.
28 February Update:
I contacted customer service and they immediately sent me a replacement product. It arrived rapidly and it worked perfectly!!!! So pleased with this. I can put just the right amount, right where I want it.

Is the tip fine enough so that I can glue words and super file items such as a doily?

Yes. To me it’s as fine as it can be without getting clogged constantly. For example, I glue the Stamp Market modern alphas which are quite fine.

Yes, you should be able to put another adhesive in the bottle once this is empty.
