  • Can you heat emboss with this ink?   By: peggysw (04-Mar-19) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Yes you can. Just use clear embossing powder, making sure you add the powder quickly as the ink dries quickly. This is the BEST ink for stamping, love it! Have fun!! • Can alcohol based markers be used with this ink pad?   By: [email protected] (04-Apr-24) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Thank you for your question, Once the Versafine Ink has dried it is waterproof. It also works well with most alcohol markers, but depends on the brand of marker and some will cause minor smudging. By: Scrapbook.com (04-Apr-24) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • I have found with my store-brand (national craft store's own brand) alcohol markers, it smudges even if left to dry several hours. :( It's a shame, as I adore how this ink stamps out images SO beautifully, and it's my go-to ink whenever I'm not using my markers! • How do you clean this off your stamps? Will a shammy work or just get permanently discolored from the oil based ink?   By: llong932 (18-May-19) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I am using Hero Arts ultra clean with scrubber pad to clean this ink. The result is crystal clear stamp set. After the scrubber pad I am wiping off the stamps with shammy and my cleaning process is done. By: Mona Toth (20-May-19) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Is there a suggested re-inker if the versafine one is unavailable?   By: adiefh1 (22-Jul-24) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • There is a Reinker available but for some reason out of stock or not carried here. Do an on line general search for the exact Versafine type and color you need. Amazon's prices are generally more expensive btw. So when I see sales or free shipping or discounts on orders here I often buy 2-3 pads and keep sealed to avoid drying out. This ink lasts quite a long time so I have spare new pads too if and when needed. My biggest problem is I give away my spares all the time to stampers who struggle with clean clear stamps in black. Everyone to date has been blown away with this ink and it's ink pad full size here. So I do use Versifine Claire in black too and find they very a bit but it's a second good option. I have quite a few colors in both. I wish I could get this in a pure chocolate brown. Sepia is a bit darker than I like and one other shade is a bit too light. I hope this helps settle the question about Reinker bottles. But since they are often a few dollars higher and the pads last a long long time I am happy with buying a spare or two of pads. (Just don't give them away all the time. LOL and XOXO's.) By: LASinMT (18-Feb-25) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • Hello. It is not recommended to ever mix re-inkers with different stamp pads. The inks may be incompatible. By: Scrapbook.com (23-Jul-24) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
