The Number 10 PenBlade Craft & Hobby Knife by PenBlade, Inc. is a must-have staple in your scrapbook tool stash! This sturdy blade is a curved-edge blade that cuts through a variety of materials such as fondant, balsa wood, EVA foam, leather, cardstock, floral, rubber, leather cord, jute, and so much more. For quick and easy measuring, there is a ruler marked in inches and millimeters on the end of the handle. The blades are designed for long-lasting sharpness and durability, and are made of surgical-grade stainless steel (no carbon steel). The knife also features push-button blade retraction for instant safety and storage, making a cap unnecessary. Left- and right-handed users will both be able to use this ambidextrous knife. The package includes three Number 10 blade craft knives
Maybe I got a box of duds, or something, because my pen blades are definitely not sharp. I think my scorer goes deeper than these do. It looks like a razor blade, but it sure doesn’t cut like one. I was trying to go through cardstock and I would have to go over the cutting area again and again before it came loose. I also made the mistake of buying the big box because of the great reviews on here and it seemed a better deal. I am not happy that I threw away $26 and then get on line and find out I can get medical disposable scalpels for less than $10 for a box of ten. I usually shop around before I hit the buy button and I sure wish I had this time.
