    Ranger Ink- Archival Ink Pad-DIY

Got this one to customize for small stamps with multiple colors that I frequently use. The size works great for small stamps and has it's own pad case like regular color pads so storage is a snap! Would like to see larger DIY pads in the future!

Questions & Answers
  • Is this an uninked, dry pad that I can use with food coloring?   By: GeorgiaG (07-Oct-15) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Yes it is a plain, dry. Felt pad that you can add and mix your own archival ink colours on. It says I can be used with water based dye inks, watercolours and acrylics. I have not used it yet so can't comment on how well it works. It also sounds Ike you only get to use it once. I don't see why you couldn't use the food colouring but you would probably need a pad for each colour. JB By: Judbud (08-Oct-15) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Hi, Does this work on acetate and dry without heat? Thanks.   By: Nice day (20-Feb-24) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Hello! Yes, archival ink will work on acetate, however, this item is a "Do It Yourself" ink pad so it comes with a completely dry, un-inked pad. By: Scrapbook.com (20-Feb-24) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • This is a #0 size Archival Ink Pad which is the smaller Archival pad size similar to most standard-sized ink pads. By: Ranger Ink (08-Nov-21) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

  • I have some black leather note pads, can I use the archival inks on this and will it stay on ?   By: Tallmiss (10-Feb-21) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Archival Ink is fade resistant and waterproof. Permanent on matte and gloss papers and should work on leather I would try a scrap piece first to see if you like the stamping results as leathers vary (pebbled vs. smooth).

Also please note the attached images is for a DIY Archival Ink Pad which comes dry as you can customize this pad with Archival reinkers to make any blend or rainbow pad yourself.
