I absolutely love this adhesive system. Away with the smaller adhesives that run out too quickly. This is large enough to last through several projects, yet not to bulky to use. Threading the tape can be tricky at first, but there is a great diagram inside of the holder that works great between the need to insert a new refill and when did I put this last one in! :)
Since a bought my ATG from Scotch I stop buying other tape adhesives. This product is not extremely strong but it works for my projects, even for wrapping gifts!
The other thing I really love about the refills is the little plastic roll that leave at the end. Is the most eco-friendly adhesive. You know there are some with big cartridges that are a lot of waste.
There isn't anything that hasn't already been said about the value and useability of Scotch ATG tape. Beats the heck out of smaller "snail" adhesive applicators. It does require that you scrupulously adhere to the technique for applying the adhesive. You have to be precise.

I have a heck of a time finding a store that has these in stock in my area. I tried Scrapbook.com and they had TONS in stock! I had them delivered to my door 2 days later. I will never again waste my time and gas driving all over the city looking for these and will go directly to Scrapbook.com!
This adhesive gun is easy to use with no jamming. The price is right and the refills (two to a package) are always available online. I use this product all the time and the adhesive is very good as far as really sticking permanently. I used to use the glue sticks, but my matted pictures would come loose from my pages after awhile as the glue dried out.

Do you carry the acid free atg tape also. I'm having a hard time finding it .

I'm looking for a strong adhesive for doing my die storage pockets and I need to kno if this is one of the best things to adhere the magnets to the cardstock? If not can u plz recommend something?

I've recently opened a new package of these and BOTH rolls have the adhesive on the wrong side of the tape. I've never encountered this before. Is there a way to fix it, or did I just waste $10 Canadian?

I use this tape but do NOT use the ATG applicator. I always put it down by hand and it works like a charm. Also that way I have control over when I remove the backing. I hope this idea this will help you since you cannot put it into the ATG. ::hugs::

Is this Scotch - Adhesive Refill for the Pink ATG GENERAL PURPOSE safe for photos? Acid-free, lignin-free & archival safe?

The general purpose tape is usually used for everything but photos or anything archival. Meaning, if it's really important to you, use the really important tape - the non-acidic, so the one you are asking about is not it. You are referring to the general use tape. Look for the archival version for your photos. I can see how this might be confusing because, at least on my computer screen, that part of the description for each of the two types of tape get cut off since there isn't enough room. Is that clear as mud? Compare the prices and pay more for the tape that's more long-lasting.

They make 2 kinds of tape. One is not acid free, the other is. Usually the one that is acid free is more expensive. Sometimes as much as 2.00$ more. Hope this helps.
