I love my ATG tape dispenser and refill 1/4" glue rolls. Easy to change (look up the utube video) and it takes me quite a while before I go through each roll. Unlike small tape runners that I am constantly running out of and having to refill. It saves me a lot of money too!!!

I really like that it lasts a long time and I don't run out as often than when I did with my little tape runners I used to use! It works really well and makes things I stick down stay there.
Since I love my ATG Applicator Gun so much I certainly love these refills--I really appreciate getting 2 rolls at a time in the package.

Wow, this is super-duper sticky glue! It is great for cards. I swear, nothing will ever fall off with this stuff! I'm not sure how much I will use it for scrapping, as I do have a bad habit of repositioning items. You'll need to use some Un-Do if you want to repostion successfully with this tape.
I do love how the roll is so big--no more frequent refills of the Tombow for me. Excellent value for money. The quarter-inch size is very handy too.
I love this gun! My niece used it and loved it, too, so I bought her one ... now her mom's gotten one for herself. It's easy to re-load, and it makes applying adhesive a snap.
I love the Scotch tape runner. It goes forever vefore you have to refill. It also, and this is a big one, doesn't break and tear making it unusuable. Ijust love it.
These are the same size as the atg gold but a lot cheaper (you get two) also they are the same length, I have 2 back up packs you can't beat this price!

Aside from price, what is the difference between this refill and the general use refill?

I've had my ATG for quite a while. For some reason, I was told to use the gold backed adhesive instead of the red backed. It's been long enough now that I don't recall why. Is one of them acid free and the other is not? I do scrapbooking as well as card-making. My hobby lobby carries the refills, but I am no longer able to get the gold backed refill there. Is there a difference and which should I be using? By the way, I love the ATG compared to other adhesives. I was reluctant to try it because of the size...I felt it would be awkward to handle. It did take a little getting used to, but I loved it right away!

I use whatever I can order. I've used both the red and gold, but mostly red backed. I see no difference. I definitely love the ATG! So much easier to use.
