I had used before the embossing stamp pads, however, I like the dabber better, this is the first time I have use it and is really cool because, I can apply to the side of the stamp I want and not to the whole stamp like when I use the pad, great idea! I recommend this product to everyone!
This little gadget has the flexibility of a dauber on large or small stencils and by using masks I can emboss any shape or edges. Awesome flexibility, way easier than trying to use the stamp pad for freehand designs to add embossing powders.

Applying directly to the paper was unsuccessful - splotchy, streaky, and uneven... had to revert back to my pad. Save your time... Almost tore my paper in my attempts to get enough fluid on my paper... Tried to get info from the video... NO LUCK !!!
If you are sensitive to smells, avoid this product. The peppermint scent was so overpowering that my husband could smell it when he walked in the room an hour after taking the lid off but not using it. Its now in the trash, i’ll stick with my versamark from now on.
I usually struggle with heat embossing. Never know how much glue to use. This dabbler made it easy especially with stamping the image I want to emboss. I watched a video of Tim Holtz using it and it made all the difference.
If you use stencils on card stock, then this Dabber is for you.
Works well from the bottle. Utilize it with coloured embossing powder(s) and it will add dimension to your card stock.

Does this peppermint odor continue for a long time?
Any scent should fade as the product dries. Hope this helps!
