If there's one thing I reach for almost every time I make a card it's my clear embossing powder from Ranger. After years of using it, I thought it was about time I replaced it since my last jar of it was pretty much used up.....just a little powder in the bottom. This lasts and lasts and works perfectly every time. Highly recommend.
This is truly a clear powder. I used it on colored ink and you can see the ink color perfectly, now with just some sparkle! My embossing pen has a pink tint which unfortunately shows through, so I have to use my VersaMark ink pad. I will look into a different pen than my American Crafts embossing pens, which work great with solid embossing powders, but obviously not the right choice with the clear powder.
Love the detail you can get with this product. Just be aware that the LARGE photo shows a 1 ounce jar, but what you get is 0.56 oz.
A great 'basic' for embossing. No need to have multiple powders in every colour. Gives a great shiny finish and you see the coloured ink right through the heated powder. A great first purchase when you're just starting out!
This powder is perfect for crisp images, especially when it comes to tiny letters. I love it!
This was the perfect solution to my problem! It made such a pretty shine on my stamped surfaces!
This dries clear and quickly. I forgot to use my embossing powder bag first, but thankfully this did not make a mess. I will definitely purchase this again.

Ranger products are always high quality and excellent value. This embossing powder is no exception. Creates a nice thick embossed image with any stamp.
I just received my clear embossing powder and it performed EXACTLY how I dreamed it would. It generates a two-tone effect that is quite lovely and I can't wait to use this technique more and more. I had no problem with the application. However, I do recommend using an anti-static product and a quality stamp pad product. It makes a world of difference using quality products.
I like the clear embossing powder because it will take any color you want.

My image is still sticky after embossing! Why?

You do have to let it cool before touching. If you make a mark in it you can alway reheat it to smooth it out.

This would likely be related to the embossing ink used rather than the embossing powder.
