A great 'basic' for embossing. No need to have multiple powders in every colour. Gives a great shiny finish and you see the coloured ink right through the heated powder. A great first purchase when you're just starting out!

If there's one thing I reach for almost every time I make a card it's my clear embossing powder from Ranger. After years of using it, I thought it was about time I replaced it since my last jar of it was pretty much used up.....just a little powder in the bottom. This lasts and lasts and works perfectly every time. Highly recommend.
I ordered the Ranger FINE embossing powder , as I wasn’t getting good results with the other powders I had used in the past. This powder gives me the results I’m looking for and I’m pleased with the results. I basically use it for sentiments on greeting cards, and I’m now getting a crisp, clear image. Hope this review helps.
Love using this embossing powder. Fine works better for me than the corset type! Love lots of sparkle on my cards!
This is truly a clear powder. I used it on colored ink and you can see the ink color perfectly, now with just some sparkle! My embossing pen has a pink tint which unfortunately shows through, so I have to use my VersaMark ink pad. I will look into a different pen than my American Crafts embossing pens, which work great with solid embossing powders, but obviously not the right choice with the clear powder.
I love using clear embossing powder. I can use my regular stamp pads first then use the embossing ink and clear powder. It extends my embossing possibilities
This dries clear and quickly. I forgot to use my embossing powder bag first, but thankfully this did not make a mess. I will definitely purchase this again.

My image is still sticky after embossing! Why?

You do have to let it cool before touching. If you make a mark in it you can alway reheat it to smooth it out.

This would likely be related to the embossing ink used rather than the embossing powder.
