This was the first time I had ever distressed anything. This ink worked great. The color was spot on, and I was able to apply it with ease.

I bought this set because it was very competitively priced in the sale. Prior to this I only had a few Distress ink cubes - and a lot of their reinkers.
Trying the full-sized pads has borne out for me what I had felt using the cubes: personally, I find the type of (very firm and inflexible) ink pads used not much to my liking.
They are not the best stamping inks but amazing for ink smooshing or colouring - and for these techniques, softer ink pads are (for me) easier to use. Or, to use these amazing inks and incredible choice of colours, like me, go direct to the reinkers!
This is a personal preference and I do NOT wish to distract from the very good quality of inks, I simply do not care too much for this ink pad as a mode of dispensing them.
