Here’s what Scrapbook.com customers are saying about The Best Ever Craft Mat:

Used twice, so far so good!

“I have used this twice and so far, so good. Right now, I would say 5 stars. It is sticky, so it does not move around when using. I used red ink and it cleaned off without staining. I had little cut-out pieces and they did not move, I had to pick them off. That is a good thing, so they aren't lost on the floor, but also a little tricky to pick up. I have not used embossing powder on it and I don't think I will since it is hard to get things off of it. But I got it mainly for the ink, adhesive (getting all over my desk and hard to get off) and moving issues (getting everything lined up then something moving and making my project crooked) I was having. I would recommend it to a friend, I actually bought one for my friend. Hopefully she finds it helpful too.” – KathyB715

Desk Saver and Durable

“I've been using this about a month, and now won't work without it. I put stamp ink directly on it to blend with water. I do all my messy work -- like block stamping -- on it. I even do all my adhesive on it, and everything goes away with a baby wipe or a spray of water and wipe with a microfiber cloth. I dropped something sharp on it and did make a small cut into the surface, but the cut did not go all the way through. Ink stained that small area, but with no issues -- the ink does not come off on my paper, and the mat still functions perfectly. Basically, it took a beating and kept on!” – Freebird Forever

Great Buy

“This mat works great; a mat for all projects. It stays put, does not move and it wipes up beautifully. I wish I had it first, I wouldn't have had to spend the time and cost replacing the mat I had. The old one was made of vinyl; some glues would not wipe clean and I had to tape it down, so it wouldn't move. This one is just perfect!!” - mecare

    Sticky and Very Static

I purchased this mat to replace my Ranger Ink - Inkssentials - Reusable Non Stick Craft mat because I found it too slippery and it will always move at times when steadiness was needed.

The Ken Oliver - The Best Ever Craft Mat is a good mat and does what it says it does. The reason I gave it only 3 stars is solely because its non-slippery feature comes from the fact that is made of a type of rubber which is sticky and static. These two last features = attract dust, hair, lint, little tiny pieces of paper left overs etc. It takes longer to clean it than to actually use. I put it to good use though. I placed it under my Ranger Ink Non Stick mat which made the Ranger mat non sticky. Now I have the perfect nonstick and non slippery craft mat.

  • Not so much

Personally I'm not a big fan of this mat. It's too sticky. Not sticky as in tacky, but sticky as in rubbery. I cant move anything around on it. I have to pick everything up to move it. If you don't like the slipperiness of the Ranger mat maybe you'd like this one but I prefer being able to move it and the stuff on it around to get it out of my way. Plus all the little pieces of everything that sticks to it drives me crazy. It's even hard to wipe off.

    craft mat

Love this mat but want another as I think it would be great to keep sewing machine foot petal in place as it travels all over while sewing. Mat is not more expensive than when I first purchased it nice mat and does clean up real nicely as well. I am going to try it for the sewing machine anyway just hate to place it on the floor

craft mat & rest of order

I am not going to review all the small items. Everything is good. I am glad I finally broke down and bought this mat. It is really a necessity. It is easy to wipe off, no stains, ink comes off....I am no longer scrubbing my counter tops and using scrap paper or newspapers to stamp on.

    Ken oliver craft mat

Really nice good quality craft mat that doesnt slide everywhere and I use it over my cutting mat. It could be a bit bigger,I didnt want to buy the really huge one and cut it down, if you had crafting friends to share it with it would be worth sharing the cost.

Great for Stamping and when using adhesives

This is the second one of these that I have purchased. The one I already have is still being used, and I wanted another one for another surface that I use for crafting. It cleans up beautifully from both stamping and when I used adhesives. It is super thin and almost becomes a part of any table top that you place it on. It does not scoot around and lies perfectly flat.
