EZ to spray a color in the background, rather than just use paper. At Scrapfest Tim Holtz suggested cutting the border of the stencil off, so you don't have a line--if that makes sense. It works beautifully and looks creative!
Very much enjoy doing vintage art journaling and making cards.
There is so many different directions I can take the "clockwork" design...one can cover any aspect of "making the journey" from a time angle....or one can use a gazillion quotes and examples from scripture....in other words its all about time and how we spend each moment we explore the planet!!
Mixed media, art journal, shabby, grunge. Does it all, I put this poor stencils through a rigorous wringer and it hasn't failed me. Brava Tim Holtz, your designs and crafty edge rock. Love you Scrapbook.com for putting another fabulous tool in my art thirsty hands!! Heidi B.
Here's another stencil that I am using a lot. It's fun to use with paint or with paste. Clocks and gears are very "in" right now so hurry and get this one for your collection - you'll find you are using it many times. Just remember to clean it after each use.
