So it took a long time before I convinced myself I needed this stencil - I have had it less than a month and have used it so many times - it is now a theme in my art journal. Yesterday I tried filling the page and of course you can overlap and continue the design for a very large space, I did not think of this when I purchased it. I just love this stencil!
I have this love it just used decofoil and transfer gel OMG beautiful for foiling and soft distress oxides beautiful. Made a glittered wedding card as well and watercolored between glittered florish all beautiful
I have only used this a couple times so far but this "flourish" Stencil makes a beautiful back ground to stamp with. The clean up was so easy as well, I just rinsed it off under plain warm tap water and the ink rinsed right off, no scrubbing necessary. I plan to purchase a couple more of Tim's stencils. And why not? They are made to work well on a ring all stored together. Easy peasy.
It's just the quality you would expect from a Holtz product. It's beautiful! I will get a lot of use from this...from inks to texture paste, etc.
I love any of the Tim holtz stencils. They are easy to use And easy to clean. Usable with many different mediums
I used this beautiful stencil to cover the white bedposts of a Victorian bed I'm working on with gold scrollwork. It's gorgeous. Also, thanks for the very quick shipping so my project was not delayed. (The bedposts have octagonal flat sides, and so are not round. It would be hard to use this on a curved surface.)
This stencil is great for smaller projects and gives your project an air of soft elegance. I used it around a picture frame using textured mud and a spatula. I had no issues with lifting or smearing. I highly recommed this stencil.
