I was going to purchase crackle paste, but decided to do the crackle stencil because for my mixed media projects, cards, art journaling, etc. it seemed it might be more versatile - I am loving it!
So far I have used with paste, paint, ink and I've also used as a stamp to get that grainy crackle texture. The design is a bit delicate so you do have to be careful with the pastes, but it is an amazing stencil and I am so glad I chose it!
I really enjoy the pattern that this stencil makes. I've used it with spray and ink on cardstock and it makes the backgrounds more interesting.

This die is so fun to use. It creates such a beautiful pattern on cards. I really like using it with the metallic distress crayons for more of a 3D look.
