Features of the Distress Ink Storage Tin:
This clever storage container has a plastic insert that is removable making it super easy to store other items in the tin. The insert is specifically designed to hold the mini distress inks and you will love that once you place your inks in the plastic insert and you close the hinged lid, your inks won't move around and the covers of the ink pads stay tight. Once you have all of your inks stored you are ready for your on-the-go crafting, retreats or classes.

Step up your organization and sort your mini distress ink pads by cools, warms, neutrals or try sorting them by season or whatever works best for your crafting needs. The tin comes in silver, but you can take it up a notch by using alcohol inks to add color to the tin quickly allowing you to identify the color family that is stored in them. Or you can embellish the tins with washi or tissue tape, jewels, stickers and more.
Tip:
Grab all of your 1" x 1" Mini Distress Ink Pads and organize them by color or what works best for you and then order as many tins as you need to store them, you will be so happy that you did! Once you get them all organized the tins stack nicely on top of each other allowing you to store them easily on your crafting workspace, in a closet, a drawer or on a shelf. These little tins don't just hold Tim Holtz mini cubes, all sorts of other mini ink cubes can fit in them, as well as anything else you can think of. I love the sturdiness of the tin, but with the see through lid, so you don't have to open them to see what is inside. Highly recommend them for anyone who needs to organize!
The tins are made for the 1 inch mini ink pads. The pads fit snugly and the lid closes tightly. The tin has a window in the lid.
I have purchased several tins. I have tins for distress inks, Hero Arts inks and Gina K ink pads. The tins stack neatly for storage.

I love the mini distress ink pads, so this was a very nice idea for storing them. They stack well, but by storing the mini pads in this tin, you can see the colors and names so easy. Very happy I made the purchase, and will most likely purchase more.
I love the first one I bought, can see all the colors and very secure in this tin so had to buy more minis to get another tin. Love Tim Holtz storage containers of all sizes. (the one for Alcohol inks is wonderful and again very secure.
Perfect for taking ink cubes to away crafting events. Love them so much that I now have 3. I use for ink cubes, one for distress ink and one for misc cubed speciality inks.

No, this tin holds the Distress Mini Inks 1 x 1 pads. The tin you would want to use is the Ranger Archival Ink Pad Tin which holds all Mini Archival inks including Tim's Distress Archival Inks. The part number is ri-aima58434.

I'm just starting out purchasing ink pads and storage for these items. I was interested in the Tim Holtz Mini Distress Inks and Mini Storage Case. All the mini inks are 1.25" X 1.25" but the case shows that it holds 1" x 1" . Will 12 of the 1.25 X 1.25 fit in the 1" x 1" storage case?

As stated previously, all of the 12 minis fit exactly in the tin. A great storage solution.
