Ranger Ink - Tim Holtz - Distress Stain - Walnut Stain

Use the Walnut Stain Distress Stain by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink on any porous surface. This fluid, water-based dye provides quick coverage for backgrounds and large areas. Dilute it with water and mist to get lighter color or a mottled look. Apply layers of stain for deeper color. The 1 oz. bottle has a spring-valve dabber top.

  I worked with these in a class where we used them to stain vellum and then stamped on top. Stamping leaves over the fall color spectrum and then cutting them out creates some beautiful effects. I really like working with these. They are great for staining seam binding and twill for ribbons to match your work
