I hemmed and hawed about this pad for awhile. When it went on sale and snapped it up and I'm so glad I did. This is the nicest brown. Tea dye has been a staple forever -- I love the rusty tones. Gathered twigs could not be more different. This one is a lovely earthy comfortable medium brown. I find I use it for an entirely different kind of color "feel". It does not go with as many of the other Distress pad colors so that may matter to you.
Tim has added a perfect fall brown to his collection that i'm sure will find its place in many of my projects throughout the year.
Love this color! Fits right in with my vintage themed projects. After hearing that this color is only available for a limited time I bought two.
I love the inks, they add so much to a layout!
Used in this project: My Friends on Whipple Road
I use a lot of this ink I am glad to see a new color and It really is a good choice for nature works, I do a lot of sponge painting and TH inks are perfect for that
These water soluble inks allow you to quickly create so many different looks. Love using them!
I like using Rangers ink. I painted a small wood box that holds my art brushes. Adding this ink over the paint gave my box that the old worn look. I like the way it blends easily. Thanks
I'm such a big fan of Tim Holtz/Ranger products and this color is my favorite brown color for inking/distressing...it's the perfect 'brown'!
