    Excellent!

I've used the edges of scissors and allsorts to tear paper edges, which is OK, but this is so handy! I have put a ribbon through the loop and have it around my neck, when distressing, so I always know where it is, and can get my hands free in a jiffy.
I didn't find it hard to learn, I just dragged the edge up and down against the knife, and torn it went. Wehey! *plus I love Tim Holtz stuff*

    Awesome tool!

I'd never tried distressing anything before, but saw this little tool had really great reviews so I got it. I just tried it last night on a LO and LOOOVE it!! It's really easy to use and makes a great distressed effect.
I agree with the other posts, use this over a trash can or prepare for some serious paper dust!
    Awesome tool, thank you!!

    Can't be without

This would be my style...to distress the edges. Do it on either the papers or the pictures or both on everything. I didn't think I needed another one, but this one is much better than the other that I've had for awhile. I'm able to do little strips of paper because it is so small. It's very comfortable in the hand as well. Worth it!

  • I love it!

I used to use scissors to distress the edge of my paper, but it was difficult to achieve a deeper distressed look because whenever I was pressing too hard, the blade would rip my paper.
    This little tool is amazing.
    No more wasted paper!
I now have control over how old I want my paper to look.
Warning: Prepare yourself for a lot of paper dust when you use it. I usually use it on top of a trash can.

    My Go To Tool

I love the distressed look and knew I needed to find something to help me. I tried scissors (not sharp enough), razor blades (scary) and my fingernails (made a mess of my nails). I've had my paper distressing for almost 6 months and find myself reaching for it on almost every project I do. I find it is very easy to use and it gives the perfect edge distressing I want.

Tonic Studios - Tim Holtz - Paper Distresser

This is my favorite tool. And its so inexpensive. Makes distressing the edge of pp and cs a snap. I lost mine recently and went crazy looking for it. Had to use my nail or edge of scissors to do the distressing. I ended up buying one from scrapbook.com and am so pleased how quickly I received my package.

    Can't Live Without This Product!!

This little tool is a must-have! If you like those gorgeous roughed-up, tattered edges on your projects edges, this is the tool you're looking for. Extreme ease-of-use. Just run it up and down the edges of your paper. Gorgeous results! Highly recommend! This is one tool I couldn't live without!

    Tim Holtz Paper Distresser

This little gadget works better than pretty much any other distresser I have used, including the machine which wakes up the whole neighborhood! It is quick and it is eady to control how much distressing you want. It is a little hard to do corners, since they tend to fold. Oh, and no noise!

    finger saver

This little gadget has saved my teeth from clenching as I attempt to get that vintage edge on my cardstock. It is so much better than trying to grip and tear the edge of the paper with my fingertips. Just pull down or scrap, and whalla, instant old! Have Fun! Lisa

    Great Distresser

I just received the Tim Holtz Paper Distresser and I love it. Even though it is small, it does a wonderful job distressing. For years I have been using the Making Memories paper distresser and this one does a much better job requiring very little effort.
