I orginally bought this kit before it went on sale. When I received this I took Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam, Chandelier, and brushed the entire cover with it. Chandelier is really a clear coat with very pretty sparkles. It turned out beautifully! (Even my husband was impressed!) I then took chipboard parenthesis in chipboard and glued them on the chipboard pages (making 6 diffrent sections.) I took the paper(except for the diecut) & then punched 8x8 paper for the pages in the book.
When the kits went on sale I bought 2 more kits. I plan on doing the same color with the "Chandelier" for my friend. Her favorite color is pink & by the time the color dries it will bring out the pink & any other color you may like.
I do need to tell you whether or not you buy this on sale or not this is a very excellent buy. How many "books" come with beautiful paper, not just one piece but 10 double 12x12 sidedpaper,3 sets of alphabets, 1 set is weathered wood,2 round paper diecuts,12 brads 6 each of red & blue and 24 sheets of"flip notes" (that you can use for journaling). I Love PINK PAISLEE, however they and SCRAPBOOK.COM have done one fantastic piece of work!
There really is a lot of "stuff" in these kits for the money - I am really impressed. I'm not really into making lots of little albums, but this has inspired me to do a little project just based on what's in the kit. I got 4 - one for each of my kids and I've decided to do a little "a day in the life" album for each of the kids with the stuff in the kit. I'm really excited and I would totally recommed this for those who are into the "foofy" stuff and those (like me) who aren't so much. =-)
This kit is very comprehensive & even contains a little scrapbook with the rings on the inside, unlike those with binder rings visible from the outside. I've left mine packaged intact until I'm ready to use it and that will be when I get more pics of my granddaughter--maybe when she's a bit older.
