Questions & Answers
  • Is all Photo Play paper the shiny/different-weight-than-most-scrapbook-paper kind? This affects whether I buy them!   By: papertraildiary (11-Apr-19) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Hello! All PHOTOPLAY papers are not shinny/different weight. We print PHOTOPLAY on 65# Cardstock and is printed using a printing method called off-set printing, and the paper isn't shinny. Recently though, we introduced a new line of paper called COLORPLAY, and all COLORPLAY paper is printed on 80# Cardstock and is printed using a method that allows us to print with brighter colors. But COLORPLAY paper does look shinny. So when shopping, you will see PHOTOPLAY or COLORPLAY and that is the difference.

If you have further questions, you can contact me directly. Id be happy to talk to you in more detail about the two printing methods.
