I'm using this die over patterned paper for attractive, colorful holiday cards, It nearly covers an A2 card as is, or I've cut the top swirl off to add a decorative element.

is this a die with a shadow? I can't tell exactly what this die looks like cut out. I've seen many dies with this display. Does it have that background that is not the same shape as the sentiment? But is there some sort of background die? Or is it just what the packaging looks like? I guess, I'm wondering if there is a die behind the main die?
