Are the bricks within this pattern open so that all that is cut out is the lines of the pattern? I'm wondering how fragile the die cut piece will be to handle. Thanks

You can leave the bricks in or pop them out, most fall out on their own. It's great to have that option. If you use a heavier weight paper, the cut-out will be sturdier to handle. I've been using 100#, so I don't have to cut too many extra layers for dimension, and I've used an ink blending tool on the cut-out. I've also cut out a piece in vellum.

Yes, the bricks are open leaving the line pattern. The die cuts very clean & I've has no problem with the die cut pieces being too fragile to handle.
