For the gamer in your family, you are going to want these controller chipboard embellishments for a scrapbook page or perhaps a card. This set of chipboard controllers is from Paper Rose. These game controllers are on a 4" x 6" piece of chipboard that is 2 mm thick. This is raw chipboard and is ready to paint, embellish or can be used as is. These controllers are joined by tags that can be cut apart with a craft knife (sold separately) before embellishing.
Used these chipboard controllers on the front of birthday cards for the gamers in my life along with the Pixels and Blocks paper set as the background papers and the gamer sentiments paper.
I like that these embellishments aren’t too thick (about the same as any other chipboard sets from Echo Park or Carta Bella) and I can customize the colours of the controllers to coordinate with the paper I use. I also like that 7 different sizes were included in this set. There are some areas of these shapes that are cutout so you can’t paint them, so the background paper shows through. On some cards, I had to get creative about gluing solid colour paper scraps to the back to cover these cutout areas.
