Can you use regular markers? What is the best thing to use? I've never seen one of these pads before. Also what are the water brushes for, how do you use them?

It does say that it is a watercolor paper pad. I have not used this yet but I have used similar paper. I have found a watercolor wash works best. The deeper the color the greater the contrast. There are pages which show what the pattern is so you may want to use several colors or have lighter and darker sections. A marker may cover some of the patterned areas. The printed pages are to be used also. I hope this helps.
