I have been trying to use a ink stamp pad on painted wood - it is not permanent and easily smears and wipes off - what type of ink should I use that is permanent - I tried using my hair dryer as a heat source but it doesn't work - I want permanent inks
Hi! Pigment ink should be permanent on most surfaces. Dye ink is not permanent. Make sure you let the pigment ink dry thoroughly and it should be permanent. Of course, test first, as all painted surfaces are different. If you find the ink is smearing I would try stamping with paint then for better adhesion.
