Hello, is this paper transparent when applied? What would it look like applied to the sides of black drawers? Would it be too dark?

It is not transparent. I think it would look nice on the sides of drawers, not too dark. The pattern is vertical, so make sure it fits the depth of drawer. 1 sheet might work for both sides of the drawers. Alittle grunge glaze where the drawer hit the front, will bring it all together. Good luck.
