I used watercolor markers and waterbrushes to paint these, along with distress techniques like tearing around the edges and crinkling or creasing the cards (good excuse to use the craft iron - yay!). I used gesso, watercolor and/or acrylic paints to create backgrounds in my art journal, then I collaged these in or made them the centerpiece. I really like the designs, I will be buying these again.
The whole line of Prima paintables is so beautiful! I hope they make more in the future. These are great for beginning and advanced artists. The slightly tinted paper is perfect for bringing out any colours and media. I especially love that about this line, which makes it preferable to similar products, but on white paper. These papers are gorgeous as is, or coloured in gentle washes. I've used Prima IOD oil pastels, and Prima watercolour on these for beautiful results.
