I bought the larger and smaller silicone brushes and I am thrilled! I make a lot of home made journals and books, so I use a lot of glue. I had been using a small sponge paint brush and throwing it away each time. These brushes spread the glue smoothly, and even if the glue dries before I wash them, it rolls right off!
I love this brush and have wanted to buy it for a long time. I was pleasantly surprised when I came across it at scrapbook.com. I was extremely happy that the price was great. With this brush I can actually apply a thin smooth coat on my paper. This brush has been the only thing I’ve been able to get that effect with. It seems to save my supplies since it takes less material to cover any area. Of course it’s great for texture as well but I have always struggled to get a nice smooth coat of gesso. The silicone brush is so easy to clean and can do so much. I have the 1” brush too and think they are one of the best crafting tools I’ve ever owned!
This is a lot better than a brush with the hairs for using gesso. I think you would like it.
Finally found a way to spread glue without ruining my brushes. Love this tool.
I found this brush more difficult to use than the 1 inch version. It didn't fit nicely into my pottles of media.
Despite being wider, it did not make it easier to apply paste through a stencil.
