Basically, when rubber stamping and coloring an image, the question you must answer is what media you are going to use to color the image. If you are coloring with a water based or activated product (watercolors, Distress markers, Marvy markers) you need to use a permanent ink to stamp the image so it will not run when the color is added. If you are coloring with an alcohol based marker like Copic or Spectrum Noir, your need to used an ink like Memento or Memories so the alcohol ink in the marker won't dissolve it. Memento and Staz-on hybrid ink are also good if you are coloring with colored pencils. They hold up well under all the coloring and blending.
