    Well made.

This chipboard album is well made. I needed it for a baby scrapbook album. The kraft is a great color but I needed a white background. I found that this album was easy to paint with acrylic paint as well as with the art basics heavy gesso. Also the chipboard was sturdy enough to add heavy metal embellishments which was a great find! Please note that this album is not as wide as many of the other albums...it's more book like.

    Great quality, perfect size!

I bought three of these in order to make Frank's Joyeux Noel Album, and two baby albums. They are super high quality, thick chipboard. I can't wait to work with these! Prima never disappoints!!

In the picture this Album is the one in the very back. So there are tutorials for a loose spine mini. Which its really hard to describe but look up the videos and you'll see. Anyway those are Great but very long tutorials. Well This Album Has A Loose Spine!! 😃 Yes! It still has a hard outer spine but inside a floating loose spine that the pages are connected to. It means it has a lot of flexibility, a generous 1/4 inch or so between each page which means more room for layered embellishments! Because it's a loose spine I can get easily behind it and paint the album on the inside spine. And in the gusset/ allowance (I can't remember the proper term but its the gap between the pages) as well. Which in a handmade mini would all be painted. And so is mine. I used Metallic Gilding Polish 2 coats 15 minutes for the cover and outside spine and edges. The inside spine and gusset/allowance between the pages took a tad bit longer because I had to use a small paintbrush instead of a sponge but not by much. And then my Mini is ready for the fun decorating part! It looks just as fancy as the handmade ones But! 30 minutes. Longer if I had to wait for paint layers to dry but nowhere near as long as making one yourself! Which is why I never have. And I never will. I'm spoiled now.
