    ranger ink in distress colors=perfection

Bundling the inks and tin is convenient and saves a bit of money. Easiest order I ever made. Archival inks are great because they are permanent and having them in colors matching the distress line is genius: the distress color palette is so familiar that choosing colors is easy. It will be nice to have that same ease in choosing colors in permanent inks. I hope Ranger comes out with more colors soon.

A great set of ink and storage

I love mini ink cubes. They allow me to have more colors of ink without consuming half of my craft room. And I absolutely love the storage tins for keeping them all tidy. Great quality and they hold up well.

Questions & Answers
  • What is the difference between the Archival Inks and the Distress Oxide Inks   By: dcochran.cda (21-May-19) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Per Tim Holtz, Distress Oxides are primarily constructed of pigment ink, a type of ink that is opaque and, due to its natural thickness, dries slowly. It is important to note, however, that Distress Oxides are technically a hybrid - containing mostly pigment ink, but also some dye ink too. They also react to water. Distress Archival Ink pads are waterproof, acid-free dye inks featuring the classic Distress color palette in the same fade resistant formula used in Ranger Archival Ink. Archival Inks are permanent on many surfaces. You can find alot more details and videos on the Ranger Ink website. By: Stacey4me (24-May-19) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • The easy answer is that archival are permanent and distress oxide inks are water based and water reactive. • How do you remove the ink of your stamp when you use archival ink?   By: princess.59 (27-Nov-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • You can use the Ranger Archival ink Cleaner to clean the Archival ink off of your stamp however, Archival Ink can stain stamps but that doesn't mean that the ink stain will transfer to your next project.
