    Dylusions Paint Bubblegum Pink

One of my best purchases! I love working with the Dylusions Paints. They glide on paper like silk, have great vibrant pigmenation. The colors are beautiful. I originally bought 8 colors & now will get the rest of the line.

Love Dylusions Paints; read about this batch of Bubblegum Pink.

When I received this color, it was considerably thicker than the other Dylusions paints I have. Perhaps a problem with the manufacturer. Scrapbook.com was super quick to respond to my concerns and I am happy with the way the matter was resolved. I will continue ordering from this company. They have superb customer service!
Check out the other Dylusions paints...they are fabulous! They dry quickly to a matte finish and can be layered easily, mixed easily and coordinate with each other. I have had such good results with these paints. Love using them. So highly pigmented, a little goes a long way.

    DYLUSIONS PAINTS

I ordered all 12 colors of the Dylusions paints. It's a great product. Your response in filling my order and delivering it to me was outstanding. My only problem was with the local carrier, in delivering the product to the wrong address. When I called you due to my concern about the Nevada temperature (113) and the product, your staff addressed the issue and assured me, if there was any problems to let them know. I waited a bit longer to receive my order, but all was ok. I look forward to ordering again with your company.

    Thank you,

    Loretta Haig

    Bubblegum Pink Dylusions

Creamy, smooth, dries fast - GREAT for layering! Did I mention the LUSCIOUS colors? Also - these arrived very quickly - and unlike many of my other friends who bought elsewhere - these were packed well - NONE of mine were damaged in transit.

    GREAT JOB Scrapbook.com!

Product Questions & Answers

  • are these colors see thru as I want to color over the words in my bible and still be able to see to read it?? thanks   By: copperpen8 (06-Apr-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Hi copperpen8,
NO, acrylic paint is not transparent by nature. There are some colors in professional lines that are made to be transparent like some of the colors in the Liquitex full body acrylic paint line for example, but again, only the specified paints/colors are translucent and they aren't necessarily perfectly see through.

I would use watercolor paint which you can buy in a tube or in a palette as dried cakes of paint. You can also use water based pigment like Faber Castell pigment pens, gelatos,Neocolor II watercolor sticks and Inktense blocks. They are water based pigments that come in solid and liquid, gel/cream or pen form that are waterproof and permanent once dry.

Acrylic can be diluted with water to give a watercolor "effect" but it will NOT behave exactly like watercolor because it isn't; but it will give you that translucent watercolor look you're going for. I would highly recommend playing around with the acrylic and water first to see which ratio gives you the best effect. You can use an old or worn out bible page to practice, which will be the same as the paper you will be adding it to, or you could even prep a white phone book page with gesso and try it on that. • I guess you could water the paint sufficiently to make it transparent. I haven't tried using it in such a way. By: 1gdawg.johnson (07-Apr-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
