Takes a Little Learning Curve
I like the finished thick look. It took me several tries to get it right. This is slightly different from the regular embossing powders I've used. The powder is large chunks - kind of like sea salt. The grains have a tendency to bounce all over the place when dumped on the paper. Also, they don't stick to the ink exceptionally well. The ink needs to be very juicy. If you use an ink pad that is slightly dry, or a paper that sucks up the ink right away, this won't work for you. With all that said, now that I have a better understanding of how to use this, I really do like it. It gives the words a really thick, raised up, look. This will probably be my go-to embossing powder rather than the regular stuff.
