  • Can this be used too with the fuse tool since is silicone mat too. Ty   By: Aliris (23-Jul-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • This mat is silicone and is heat resistant but it is not cut resistant so if you use the fuse cutting tool it will cut into the mat. It is best to use a self healing mat with this tool and I would suggest using whatever the manufacturer recommends. By: Ranger Ink (24-Jul-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • I have two questions:
Can you do reverse stamping with this mat?
Will hot glue from a glue gun damage it?   By: peachesgordy (18-Mar-21) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • You should be able to reverse stamp on the silicone mat but you would need to use an ink other than Archival the juicier the better and your results will be a 2nd generation look not crisp as had you stamped it straight from the stamp to paper.
The mat is heat safe and no a hot glue will not damage it. By: Ranger Ink (19-Mar-21) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

How is this different than the non-stick craft mat?   By: User (25-Sep-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Ranger’s Silicone Mat is a durable, heat resistant surface like the craft sheet but it's clear silicone is ideal for placing over a white surface to create an
easy mixed media palette where wet medium could easily be mixed together, making
colors easily visible. This Silicone Mat resists slipping on any surface as well because of it is made of silicone. The silicone mat resists staining especially when used with Alcohol Inks just apply necessary cleaner, and wipe with paper towel. For dried mediums, scrape off with the Ranger Craft Scraper, then wipe excess clean with damp paper towel. By: Ranger Ink (25-Sep-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Will inks stain this mat?   By: User (06-May-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • At Ranger we tested everything we make and even Alcohol inks didn't stain this mat. We can't speak to ALL the inks/paints on the market but I would suggest trying a small corner first as a test. By: Ranger Ink (08-May-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • Generally speaking, inks should wipe off of the mat immediately after use. However, since there are so many different formulations for ink, there may be some inks that stain the mat. • If I am using tape runner on a card and I accidentally get it on this mat, will the tape runner rub off?
TIA   By: kakepusher (22-Mar-21) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • If the tape runner doesn't come right off by rubbing it try UnDu or Goo Gone and it will come right up. By: Ranger Ink (23-Mar-21) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

  • Recently bought this mat. After opening it, the edges on the bottom and one side are not flat. Is it defective or is there a way to flatten this mat.   By: lmundi (10-Jan-21) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Try adding heat with your heat/embossing tool to flatten then place something heavy on top like a stack of books this should retrain it to lay flat. By: Ranger Ink (11-Jan-21) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
