Your projects are going to dazzle when you use the Set 1 Pearl Powders from the Letter It Collection by Ranger Ink. Included in the set are two powders, one dusting brush and one perfect medium pad. The powders are specially developed with a built in resin, Perfect Pearls pigment powders are easy to use wet or dry. These can be combined with water and a water brush or paintbrush for painted pearlescent watercolor effects.
Included in package: 2 perfect pearls - perfect bronze and pewter. I used the bronze on black, but my technique was wrong and the powder stuck to not only the stamped letters but the background - had difficulty getting it off. you actually need 2 brushes - one to put on the powder, the other to brush off. If you are not careful - the powder sticks to everything. I liked the overall look
I got the Perfect Pearls to add a little shimmer to my projects. I add approx. 1/16 tsp to a 10 ml spray bottle to lightly mist over finished artwork, or add just a few touches to drops of water on my mat and mix it with paint to add shimmer as I paint. You don't see the shimmer until it dries, bit when it does, it's just perfect. I had to practice on some stash paper to obtain the desired look I was going for. Once you master this, you will be amazed at the results you get!
I used these on some Christmas tags, perfect touches! The color really sticks well and shows on both dark and light surfaces.
